How can I return?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return your items free of charge to Van Gils. You have 30 days to do this after receiving your package. You will receive a full refund via the previously used payment method, provided the items still have their original label and are in the same condition as when they were shipped. Follow the steps below to return your items for free:
Put the items you want to return in the shipping box
Fill in the return form and put it in the shipping box
Stick the supplied return label on the box

Note: Taking sustainability and the environment into account, we urge you to always put the items back in the polybag when returning.
Can I return an item from the sale?
Yes this is possible. The same conditions apply to the return of sale items as for the return of non-discounted items.
Are there any costs associated with the return?
If an item does not fit or please you, you can return any unworn items with the labels still attached (if reasonably possible) to us without any problem and free of charge within 30 days. If damage has occurred to the product, you are personally liable for this depreciation.
Until how long can I return an online order?
If you are not satisfied with an item, you can return it for free within 30 days of receipt.
I have lost my return form.
In the unlikely event that you have not received a return form or have lost it, please contact our customer service via our contact form. They can send you a new return form by e-mail.
What is the status of my return shipment?
You will receive a return confirmation from us as soon as your return has been processed (note: this may end up in your SPAM folder). It is not possible for us to view the status of your return in the meantime. The refund will be made as soon as possible, at the latest within 14 days after receipt of the items in our warehouse. If you have not received an email 14 days after delivery of your return to PostNL Service Mail, please contact our customer service via our contact form.
When will I receive a refund for a returned item?
From the moment you send the order via a PostNL Service Point, it can take a week before we have received your order in our distribution center. After receipt, the returned items are checked, after which we instruct the bank or credit card company to refund the payment of the returned items. When a complete order is returned, the shipping costs will also be refunded (if applicable). Depending on your bank / credit card institution, it can take a few working days up to 14 days before you actually have the money in your credit card or bank account.
If we do not receive the return shipment in the original packaging, €25 in reconditioning costs will be deducted from the amount to be refunded.
Pay attention! During busy times, some returns are not processed at the same time. A distinction is then made between hanging and lying articles. First one is processed and then the other to maintain the speed. As a result, it is possible that the amount to be settled on your invoice is not adjusted in one go. This amount will be automatically adjusted once the entire return has been processed
How does AfterPay work with returns?
When you return an item, it can take up to 14 days before this return is processed in our system. You will receive a return confirmation from us by email. As soon as this return has been processed, an email will automatically be sent to AfterPay so that they credit this outstanding amount. You will then receive a revised invoice. Pay attention! Your return may be processed in several parts. This allows the outstanding amount to be adjusted in parts. This amount will be automatically adjusted once the entire return has been processed.
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the invoice is paid on time and in full for the retained items.
