No Stitch No Story

We're no role models.
We're real men modeling our own life.
We hunt for rich experiences.
Amazing stories and unforgettable events.
We count stitches and collect scars.
They are the trophies of life.
The souvenirs that remind us of our acts.

Sometimes we go off the rails and over the edge.
Sometimes we fall and sometimes we crash.
But always in style.
Always surprising.
Always with pride.
And with a smile.
Feeling surprisingly confident.

These stories shape our personality.
They make us interesting.
They make us who we are.

Sustainability

Conducts & Suppliers

In the beginning of 2009, Van Gils Fashion asked all of its suppliers to sign a Supplier’s Declaration. By doing this, a supplier indicates that it wants to actively collaborate in the development of MVO in the factories.

Currently, approximately 75% of goods originate from suppliers that are that have been BSCI approved or from suppliers that are actively involved in the audit process.

During this audit process, a concrete action plan is set up for the supplier to bring the internal working conditions to a higher level.

From now on, Van Gils Fashion will work solely with suppliers that are SA8000 certified or that have been approved on the basis of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI and part of FTA).

Van Gils Fashion wants to be a collaboration partner for suppliers. This is why Van Gils Fashion is affiliated to the BSCI, a European initiative of brands and retailers that have dedicated themselves to MVO. The rules are as follows:

1) the International Labour Organisation (ILO)

2) the Universal Declaration of Human Rights

3) the UN Convention for the Rights of the Child
